 i put on my nike shoes

thought was the day i start

went to the park

my first day of jog

was dull and all fog

 

misty was the wind 

was sharp as knife

ran oh ran 

ran like a dog

stopped to catch a breath

a sip of water quench my thirst

some one i saw for the first

thought was a dream but never was

 i put on my nike shoes

tucked the track in my sock

put the hood over my head

thought was the day i start

went to the park

my first day of jog

was dull and all fog

ran like a dog

misty was the wind

sharp as knife

but i don't care i don't care

all i care was the dream i saw

panted, gasped and puffed

ran for the dream

i shouted " dude wait for me'

it never saw or but i always saw

i was the cat it was the mouse

ran for a while and sat on a pile

 one last time "dude wait for me" 

he turned and it was ME.
